The associated particle measurement method, which was used to monitor the neutron yield and neutron flux on the D-D/D-T generator, was firstly investigated in this article. The calculation method on the anisotropy factors using 135°associated particle measurement was discussed for the neutron yield and flux monitor. Two MATLAB calculation codes, called DDApRRR.m and DTAaaa.m, were developed for computing the anisotropy factors. The anisotropy factors for monitor the neutron yield were calculated for the thick-target in the deuterons energy region of 20-700 keV. The anisotropy factors for monitor the neutron flux in the range of 0-180°with a step of 5°were also presented. The accuracy of calculation result was analyzed, and the maximum error was given.The associated particle measurement equipment was established on the Intense Neutron Generator of Lanzhou University. The monitoring equipment was primarily tested for the D-D/D-T reaction, respectively. The associated proton spectrum for the D-D reaction and the associated alpha spectrum for the D-T reaction were measured. The total measurement errors were given for the D-D/D-T reaction neutron yield measurement by combining the statistical error of experiment data and calculation error of the anisotropy factors.Moreover, the neutron emission model of neutron source was established based on the data of neutron energy spectrum and angular distribution of T(d,n)4He reaction with a deuteron energy of 260 keV. The n/γfield of D-T neutron generator at Lanzhou University was simulated using MCNP code. The energy spectrums and angular distributions of neutron and photon were given in the range of 0-360°on the mid-plane of target chamber. The energy spectrums and angular distributions of neutron and photon on three vertical planes were else present. The radial flux distribution for photon and neutron were simulated in five directions within 0~100 cm. The results show that the change of the n/γfield of D-T neutron generator is remarkable for the moderation, scattering and absorption of neutron around the target.
