When in technological innovation, production improvement and automation equipment design, the design for desire trajectory of a system has been a focus research for the study of mechanism. There are a lot of associated design methods; the database of shape spectrum is one of the most intuitive and more effective methods.The paper,got sufficient and necessary conditions of six-bar mechanism with workspace method, through establish the movement mathematic model of six-bar linkage mechanism and using programming of Delphi realized the movement simulation of six-bar linkage mechanism, describe the six-bar linkage mechanism's real-time movement. It can achieve a curve of every six-bar linkage mechanism and provide a theory for mechanism innovative design.Through analyse the method of former characteristic parameters and questions for hybrid-driven six-bar linkage mechanism curve, build a method of shape spectrum characteristic parameters based on the image analysis of mathematical morphology. The characteristic parameters obtained by this method have a normalized feature and have nothing to do with zoom, rotates, and movement. What's more, the linkage curve database of characteristic parameters has some advantages, such as small redundant date, query and identify fast, etc. The method has a positive significance for dimension synthesis of planar linkage mechanism.Using Access database store characteristics parameters of six-bar linkage mechanism curve and build a query search function for curve characteristic parameters. Through SQL query from the database to identify similar curve and corresponding characters of mechanism, show the mechanism, and also use fact example to test and verify the method is effective.The software developed by this topics implement the design scheme of scheduled-track→database of shape spectrum→mechanism'. For a scheduled track, it can quickly find similar curve from database and give the corresponding mechanism parameters at the same time.
