In the mechanical transmission system,the measurement of the axis'torque and rotating speed is the important testing item in the various rotating equipment,especially the real-time testing. Many kinds of testing systems, which made by internal or international people, have been used for scientific research and project practice. With the high-speed development of the science technology and productivity,existing mechanical devices progress toward high-speed,high efficiency and high-power. So more requires have been pointed out. Due to the torque online measurement, we can reduce the accident, analyse the reason for accidents and malfunction timely. It has a very important meaning of improvement production efficiency and economic benefit. Based on the principles of angle torque measurement, the photoelectricity dynamic torque measurement system was designed in this system, by using the photoelectric encoder.Firstly, according to the material mechanics theory, the relationship between the angle and torque was confirmed. And then, photoelectric elements and photoelectric encoder, which are installed on the torsional axis, compose of the sensor. During rotation of the axis, the optical signals converted into periodic electrical signals. In the experiment, aiming at the problem that the photoelectric signal is weak and vulnerable, the signal processing circuit was designed. The system used the high performance operational amplifier to deal with optoelectronic signal; designning the filter and trigger circuit reduced environmental interference and dithering pulse and ensure the measurement accuracy and reliability efficiently. The system used the single chip AT89C52 in the most important hardware part. Based on internal clock in the single-chip, the time difference of pulses is read by the internal timer, and converted into phase difference of two pulses. The phase differences was saved and sent to PC.In the computer the software LabVIEW was used to design the virtual panel. By serial port communication,the data was received. Then the system made the real-time waveforms display, and transfer the historical data, data processing and other functions, not only improving intelligence but also reduce the cost of the hardware resources.According to the experimentation and the data analysis,this system have a stable work, easy-control panel, good real-time performance and high measurement accuracy.
