Overall design is important for crawler crane design, including selection of schemes and technology parameters, overall arrangement, large structural strength, integral stability, analysis of structures. By using VBA which is the member of Excel, the software is built from its object based on object-oriented principle, which includes its attributes and a series of processing functions to analyze its performances.Lattice boom is the most important structural parts of crawler crane, its structural parameters are the overall design of Crawler cranes must be established at first. Its strength, the overall and local stability, weight and other parameters directly affect the overall performance of the crawler crane. For the boom structure, The traditional analysis method is based on the results of linear analysis and then left a certain reserve to determine the stability of the Boom. As fact, Boom is in line with nonlinear bending force mechanism. The stability of the surface is the essence of strength problem. When this paper analyzes the strength and stability in the Boom ,it takes into account of the actual state of force. It introduces the non-linear bending of the iterative algorithm, makes the performance analysis of the stability of the structure more in line with the actual force Boom.Through non-linear relationship between the deformation and load research, Conclude that the stability of crane booms can be applied to the analysis of more reliable and improve the calculation of the program. This paper summed up the evaluation method, which based on nonlinear bending analysis of the overall stability.The paper involves the performance evaluation of crawler crane. Proposing a new measure by analyzing the arm weight, lifting performance, and leg span, etc. Providing a scientific basis for the comprehensive evaluation of crawlerThe new design process has friendly interface, simple operation and convenient maintenance etc. That can effectively reduce the crawler crane design strength and design time.
