For a specific structure crane, which works in prescribed conditions, the rated load is the maximum allowable load in a specific operating radius. Load table lies an important position in design and operation, it is an important indicator of measuring performance of crane. The load table of crawler crane is mainly determined by the carrying capacity of the boom and resisting to overturning capacity of whole machine.This paper regards the project called "A type of hydraulic crawler crane structure strength and load table calculation" as background.And the project which is collaborated by LTD. Shandong bulldozer and northeast university school of mechanical engineering and automation. This paper is mainly responsible for the calculation of load table and the development of software system. With regard to three main factors that affect the rated lifting weight:boom strength, the overall and local stability of boom and resist to overturning capacity of whole machine, the aim of studying is make better use of the performance of the whole machine and the boom on the premise of meet the requirements. At the same time, it can improve the competitiveness of the same specification product.This article states mainly in four aspects:firstly, the paper analyzes the strength and stability of the arm. By using the mechanical principles, it analyzes the mechanical properties, loads and bending moment which comes from combined structure of main and auxiliary jib in luffing plane and the rotation plane.At the same time, it applies biaxial bending theory of steel structure to set up the meet the jib structure strength, stiffness and overall, local stability condition, and discusses the nonlinear stability equation of arm. Secondly, this paper analyzes the against overturning stability combined with some type of machine. At present, there are three kinds of calculation methods about overturning stability at home and abroad, this paper determines the calculation method of resisting to overturning stability as the rated lifting weight method according to critical tipping load calibration. According to the formulating principle of load table, the load table of this kind of machine has been calculated. On the basis of formulating the load table, the lifting performance of the machine has been analyzed in this paper, and the analysis results show that when lifting weight curve, which is controlled by the boom strength and stability, is close to the curve that has been controlled by the stability of the whole machine, the machine has a good performance. At this time, the utilization rate of machine is in a high level. At last, the paper has developed software system of load table calculation of crawler crane, which can be divided into two modules, designer module and operator module. Designers can check the materials, the rationality of the design and the capacity of lifting utilization, and for operators, they can examine rated lifting capacity in different conditions and the datas of lifting performance.The meaning of the load table is that the crane operator in different arm length and different operating radius can check the lifting load which should be the lifted. The correct calculation of crawler crane load table contributes to determine the reasonable of arm frame material, metal structure, machine layout and weight, etc. And that is a good description. The purpose of testing is make full use of the lifting performance of the machine. At the same time, based on the development of the crawler crane load calculation software system, this article improves the computational efficiency and accuracy, the efficiency and shortens the design cycle.
