Study On Residential Space Organization In Southern Jiangsu

With the development of China new countryside constructing, new socialism countryside planning and constructing become a hot research field of urban planning and spatial organization of rural residential space, also become focus of urban planning scholars. The paper chooses three countries in south of Jiangsu Province as a case, and investigate the influence factors, evolution process and mode of residential space. This paper is composed by the following four parts.The first part of this paper is preface and literature review, which mainly elaborated the researches about the rural residential space and experiences of construct. And summarizes for the literatures, from three aspects which were rural settlement, rural community society, new socialism countryside constructing.The second part of this paper analyzed the influence factors which are natural factors, economic factors, and social factors. I consider that intensive river is the basic influence factors which influence the organization of rural residential space. Agricultural production style determines the land using in rural residential structure. Wu culture is the key factor that shape characteristics of rural residential structure.The third part discussed the connection between the rural economic function and organization of rural residential structure. And give a conclusion that rural economic function is the dominant factor which influences changing of rural residential structure, correspond to different economic functions in different rural residential structure.The last part is the empirical research; Linwu village, Houbu village, and Jiangxiang village are selected as a case. And the paper analyzed the main influence factors which influence the three villages'rural residential structure, and designed the mode of rural residential structure.
