With the widely concern of the design concept of human space, this article brings forward A study of the relevance of social behavior and building space, sets focus on the relation, aims at building a space with human care, which supports and guides social behavior.This article starts with the analysis of related theories at home and abroad and common problem faced by the designers nowadays, points out the importance of the concern of social behavior in the designing of building space. It analyzes the social behavior, explains its purpose, features, basic attributes and factors affecting.Focus on the coexist open and non-open features in social behavior, this article analyzes the distance category and factors affecting in open behavior, also the construction, attributes and significance in non-open field behavior, reveals the requirement of human being towards exchange space and filed space.As the carrying vessel of the social behavior, the category, function and style of building space has always been affected by social behavior, however, once the building space being formed, it constrains and guides the social behavior within, also it has positive or negative effects towards the social behavior of filed space of different levels.This paper brings forward the long-term mechanism of keeping the interaction between the social behaviors and building space, which includes: meticulous field work in the early designing period, support and guide social behavior during the designing procedure, concern the evaluation after the designing completion, moreover, it promotes and coordinates the connection between building and society by foreseeing the social behavior and promoting the social responsibility. Hopefully it could help inspiring the architects continue to improve the architectural design by using social behavior as new design evidence in future practice, thus creating humanistic building space with human care.
