Air-condition has been used world wide. The fundamental functions and their control method are already mature. However, what customers expect on the functions of air-condition have already been combined with a lot of additional ones besides controlling the temperature. For examples: added the fresh air exchange function to improve the air quality inside the room; optimized the fan-control method for the blowing to speed up the effect of the machine; specialize the direction of the blowing to maximize the effect of human body, etc. The recognition of environment protection also brings up the new requirement on this air-condition with much power consumption. It has already been limited to the market without meeting the specification released by the country.Therefore, most companies put a lot of effort on the market analysis, communicating with end customers. Not only to learn the suggestion from them on the machine, but to collect complains from them with the after-service system. Those companies never stop optimizing the functions and product lines to make their products meet the requirement from different kinds of customer with different requirement, so that they can continuously improve their band acceptance and the market size.It makes the adding new functions to become real with the development of the new sensors. Before finalizing the topic of this article, we analyzed a lot of sensor which can be used in the air conditions. For example: the humidity sensor which has already been widely used in refrigerators; the dust sensor which can be used to detect the air quality of the space; the audio intensity sensor to detect the noise of the space; the speech sensor which can be used to identify the instruction from human, etc. This paper focuses upon the design of the air-condition controller by adopting the infrared movement detector and light intensity sensors. By learning the element of the sensor and the successfully used experience from other applications (especially in building security), we modulate this application with its space requirement and the characteristics of the sensor. We designed a totally new function in the air condition with this sensor. The result shows the improvement of the performance of humanity by meeting the real usage requirement, which help improve the efficiency, thus added the value of the whole system and reduced power consumption.Of course, the topic here only included the function and improvement on the stand alone system. But we can imagine that the home system with internet acceptance will surely be the trend. This trend is to improve the efficiency with lower energy consumption, to set up a new environment of more comfortable and humanity. In the last section of EXPECTATION, we will have a shortly discuss on the usage of other sensors in the home appliance and this trend of home system with internet.
