Hydraulic servo cylinder is the key component of an electro-hydraulic servo system; nowadays it is also a key equipment of the hydraulic automatic gauge control system of a rolling mill. this paper have designed a new testing system that refer to the related hydraulic resting standard, and base on several kinds of testing methods. This system can deal with several performance testing of several different standard servo cylinders.Firstly, this paper introduces electro-hydraulic resting technology and servo cylinder testing study status of domestic and foreign. Studies the testing principle and used methods of cylinder's general and static-dynamic performance detailedly, with an emphasis on the principle and method of the servo cylinder's friction testing .contrasting and analysising several ways to build an instructive basis for testing program's establishment.It mainly introduces to us one kind of software based on graphics-LabVIEW which is faced to instrument and test process and provides a real method for test system. Through the modular design, Introduce many program modules detailedly, and used NI the pad6015 gathering card to carry on the data to occur with gather, and have set up test system which based on the hypothesized instrument's servo cylinder, and uses the RC return route to carry on the test to this test system.The prevailing virtual instruments programming software-LabVIEW8.6 is used with Windows XP operating system. The interface is friendly and program structure is clear and easy to maintain. As virtual signal sources produces all the stimulating signals and virtual instruments performs all the testing functions, this testing system saves real instruments and lowers the expenditure.
