Study On Police Options To Problems Of Traffic Safety In Rural Highway

Rural road construction is one of the basic conditions to solve the "new rural" issue and is also an important work for building a well-off society. However, the frequent road accidents in rural areas seriously affected the sound development of rural roads. At present, most of the traffic accidents studies had been targeted to the national and provincial trunk highways, few of the studies have been targeted to rural road safety issues. As a result, rural road traffic safety study is great important to maintain the fundamental interests of the farmers and promote the sustainable development of the health of the rural economy.By the means of the field survey and using combination methods of qualitative and theoretical analysis, This dissertation targeted at rural roads. It focused on the analysis the main factors impacting on road traffic safety in rural areas from drivers, vehicles, road and environmental aspects ,discussed the characteristics of traffic accidents in the rural road, analyzed in detail at the characteristics and applicability of methods identifying accident-prone, presented a new method to identify accident-prone sections on the basis of principal component - cluster analysis; put forward an integrated prevention and controlling idea, which include the sense of security education, focusing on training accident-prone sections, using a variety of flexible safety facilities and strengthening the management of road operations etc.
