| With the development of microprocessor, the modern digital instrumentation develops rapidly and its functions will become more strengthened. At present, digital instrumentation are developing to be integrated, intelligent, high-precision, low power consumption and high reliability. At the same time, people will requires more about design criterion and performance criterion of the digital instrumentation. Compared with single-chip computer, ARM has higher processing capacity and better processing effect, which provides a new way for designing high-precision and intelligent instrumentation.After introducing the development of the digital instrumentation both at home and abroad, this thesis sums up the classification of the common instrumentation and analyses the main factors impacting the performance of digital instrumentation. On the basis of considering the cost and the performance of digital instrumentation, this thesis designs an ARM-based digital instrumentation which is five semi-resolving power, and introduces the overall design program, hardware circuit design, software design and data processing method of this digital instrumentation. This design uses the LPC2148 chip as the processing core, VFD (Vacuum Fluorescent Display) as the man-machine interface of this digital instrumentation which is friendly and has no error of visual angle; Considering maybe observing the data of this digital instrumentation under some execrable site conditions, the designer designs the upper PC display interface using LabVIEW7.1; On the basis of the LPC2148 platform designed by the author, this thesis designs a five semi-resolving power digital instrumentation, which can achieve to measuring voltage, current, resistance and so on. At the same time, this thesis designs and realizes such other functions as reading the temperature, timing the real-time clock, storing the data of SD card and so on, which lays the foundation for designing intelligent instrumentation. Through recording the operation of this digital instruments and analyzing a large amount of the data of it, the results show that this digital instrumentation display stably and this design meets the requirements of five semi-resolving power digital instrumentation. |
