China is the country which is seriously threatened by traffic accidents, thus how to prevent and control the occurrence of accidents has caught people's attention in the whole world. Drivers, as the main factors of the three elements in the traffic safety system, whose adaptability of the stress response should be enhanced. It is the essentially important to improve the traffic safety level in our country.Recent evolvement of the stress training system on virtual road is conducted in this paper. Driver Stress training system is established based on the DirectX technology through the studying and analyzing the mechanism of the driver's stress response behavior for the running conditions of actual road vehicles. The system designing thoughtway is presented by using the virtual technology and the modern animation theory. Meanwhile, every module of the system is parted according to its different function. The system includes: view subsystem, movement subsystem, handling and controlling subsystem and sound subsystem. The three-dimension vehicle model is obtained by 3DMAX. The stress scene is accomplished by applying the advanced function supplied by DirectX under the Visual Basic6.0 platform. The simulation on speeding up straight, turning and reversing is realized. Simultaneously, sounds in vehicle running process can be obtained. The scene is vivid and verisimilitude and the interaction between drivers and the stress scene can be well carried out. It can successfully achieve the purpose of training drivers under stress environment. The entire system operates smoothly and simply with a friendly interface. |
