In recent years, with the development of the power semiconductor device, the microelectronics component, the microcomputer and large-scale integrated circuit and modern control theory, especially the penetration from vector control technology to electric drive field and application, the feasible AC motor speed regulation technology has become more mature day by day.AC regulation technology which can be represented by Vector control can make the model of the induction motor rebuilt through the coordinate transform technology. With that, the torque and the flux of the AC motor can be controlled like the DC motor and the AC speed regulation system has the equivalent performance with the DC speed regulation system. Therefore, the research of the AC speed regulation system with vector control technology has become the main direction.Tradition vector control system can be categories into AC-AC and AC-DC-AC speed regulation system with the difference of its core device-transducer.Although they have structure merit such as simple, easy to control, mature technology, reliable, also have defaults of low power factor, enrich harmonic and unable to realize energy feedback. The new transducer-matrix converter (MC) can make the one-off AC-AC transformation without a filter capacitance in the middle and can also have the sinusoid input current and voltage. So, it is able to control the harmonic, restrain the grid pollution, improve the quality of the power source and achieve energy bidirectional flow.This paper introduce the research and development of MC and the basic principle of vector control, and realize the bidirectional switch zero-current-commutaion. Then introduce the basic principle of the induction motor vector control, the matrix converter fed induction motor vector control drive system was build based on this theory. This system realize vector control of the induction motor, minish the pollution of the grid and can make four-quadrant operation.Depend on the control principle of the MC and the rotor-flux orientation theory, and using the computer simulation technology, the simulation model of the MC and the matrix converter fed induction motor vector control drive system has been build. The input-output characteristic and the ability of four-quadrant operation have been testified, which has proved that the system has wide application field. The software of the vector control unit was designed at the end. |
