Planning Concepts And Protective Strategies Of Water Systems And Landscapes In LiaoCheng Town

The planning of urban water systems and landscape has been a hotspot in recent years. Most of cities round the water to carry on the landscape construction. It is the necessary to maintain good natural ecology and build the best environment to live. One of the important characteristics of the planning of water systems and landscapes is that is a complicated and comprehensive project involved several areas. It is very significant to continue the urban histories and cultures, and transform the urban environment and also show the city characteristics by the special water systems. However, the research of the planning of urban water systems and landscapes has been relatively weak, especially the effective combination of water dredging and landscape planning and designing, which undermines the organisim and integrity of the whole water system landscape. Therefore, it is necessary and important to research the theories and methods of the planning and designing of the urban water system landscape.Based on above situations, this thesis researches the water systems and landscapes in LiaoCheng town on how to protect and dredge them, show their features, design and plan them from the perspectives of ecology, history and culture and the sustainable development, at the same time this thesis will construct the theoretical methods of the planning and designing of water systems and landscapes originally and initially.First of all, this thesis puts forward the research motivation and significance, establishes the basic viewpoints and selects the theoretical methods as well as defines the related concepts around the topic on water system and landscape. And then, this thesis takes three specific examples, that is, the water system landscape in the DongChang Lake, the water system landscape in Ancient Grand Canal and the water system landscape in the Tuhai river, which analyzes the specific features of these three water system landscapes to show the unique cityscape of Liaocheng, who is named "the Water City north of the Yangtze River", "the Ancient City of the Grand Canal" and as well as "the Historical and Cultural city". At the same time, this thesis finds out some problems existed in the water system landscapes, such as water quality, greening and waterfront buildings and so on. Finally, this thesis makes a whole plan, and also designs and puts forward the regional plan and design of these three water systems and landscapes combined the existence water systems and landscapes from the current situation analysis, the perspective of design views, functions and layouts, as well as under the design concept of natural concept, historical concept and development concept. Meanwhile, this thesis offers a reference path of the relative constructions that are similar to the water systems and landscapes.
