Ventilator is a necessity in the large hospital for clinic salvage and treatments of acute or chronic respiratory failure or lack of respiratory function which are caused by various diseases. The quality of ventilation control decides the effect of treatment, so the study of ventilation control is playing a more and more important role in ventilator research. Base on the dynamic model of ventilation system, the synthetic platform of ventilator test ground on virtual instrument and simulation is designed, furthermore, the fuzzy-PI method is used in the control and the basic flow is imported which improves the capability of ventilator.The primary research of this paper includes:1. Lumped parameter model of ventilation system/respiration system dynamics model is set up. According to dynamics of respiration system, the nonlinearity time-varying dynamics model of respiratory system is established. The correctness of the model is validated by clinic data, and ventilator dynamic model is set up according to ventilator dynamic characteristic. Then the lumped parameter model of ventilation system or respiration system dynamics is present.2. The test and simulation bed based on dummy instrument is designed. The test bed including active servo lung gas way and virtual measurement & control instrument, and simulation bed is established as the foundation of the test of assist ventilation modes. Consequently the product is made to be manufacture more quickly.3. The method using Fuzzy-PI in ventilation control is brought, which enhances the synchronization between ventilator and patient, and ameliorates the phenomenon of pressure over and surging during classical PI control.4. In order to improve the speed of ventilator responding to patient, the basic flow is imported to ventilation control to reduce the ventilation output impedance and decrease the work of breath which makes the patient more comfortable as the ventilator is withdrawing.The research makes up the scarce study of ventilation modes in our country, brings better performance of ventilator; and has significant importance for theoretic study and clinic salvage.
