| With the strengthening of new revolution in military affairs, high-tech, high consumption, high maneuvering ability have become the synonymous of modern warfare. In order to protect the maneuvering ability of army and adapt the rhythm of modern warfare, we have to improve the rapidity and effectiveness of the vehicle material safeguarding. At present, due to the restrictions of management practices, our army have to preserve a large number of vehicle materials in all links and let the number of scale to offset the disadvantage of the speed of consumption. But the model, which reliance on large-scale reserves, have the shortcoming of unresponsive, inefficient and costly. Therefore, in order to achieve the fundamental purpose, which is "safeguard effectively", it is necessary to have efficient information flow and smooth logistics flow, establish of a comprehensive supply chain system of vehicle material to achieve the demand of modern war on vehicle material, which is accurate, fast, timely, efficient and requirements.Based on analysis of the status in our military vehicle material supply chain, this thesis mainly gives the following research:(1) The thesis integrate and reconstruct the existing supply chain of vehicle material, simplify the processes of vehicle material supply chain, design a new type of vehicle material supply chain, and raise a new inventory management model in new vehicle material supply chain.(2) According to the new vehicle material supply chain,the thesis set up a homologous inventory system and use the method of decomposition to optimized the inventory of new vehicle material supply chain.(3) Combining with the author's actual work,the thesis frames the tactical supposition example. By solving the example and analysing the result, it validates the superiority of new vehicle material supply chain.Through the study of this thesis, it can bring a theoretical significance and application value to the research of vehicle material supply chain in our army.
