With forty years of reform and opening up with the rapid development of economy,the contemporary China is also known as the manufacturing industry,but the research and innovation capacity of China's manufacturing industry is not enough,rarely make to profits rely on brands or supply chain management of products,most enterprise profits come from low labor costs for China also a populous country.However,due to the change of customer demand,the development of science and technology,the product needs more variety,personalized,shorten delivery cycle.In the management of entire supply chain,manufacturers enlarge customer demand in order to quickly supply customers,shorten the production cycle.This makes company purchase too much parts,manufacture too much goods.The purpose of this paper is figure out how to improve inventory management of D company to meet demand of market and customers,reduce risk,improve profits,so that enterprises in the fierce competition to maintain high competitiveness.This paper first briefly the general situation,based on the current status of D's procurement and inventory management,through data analysis,summarize and analyze the reason in order to find out inventory management problem,finally provide improve solution which fit for D company.And from organization,business process and ERP system perspective to ensure the design can be implemented smoothly.
