The Regional Expression Of Design Of Urban Landscape In Zhengdong New District

China is in the process of development of rapid urbanization presently, a growing number of cities in urban areas tend to face the original problem of saturation of reality. And thus urban new districts planning are more common in urban design field. However, due to the impact of globalization and multi-cultural, a growing number of cities which have the traditional cultures are similar with each other. In this social background, this treatise selected Zhengdong New District as the main study object to explore new districts construction and the process of forming the role of their regional culture. The study focuses on the regional characteristics of spatial patterns in Zhengdong New District, the relationship between new area and the built-up area in landscape systems, along with the design of the symbols involved in the use of language.Through a comprehensive collection and collation of literature, the thesis has summed up the intercommunity of the spirit cores in design ideas in new district planning, the traditional view of the city construction and the regional culture of Central Plains area, which are: respect for the nature; take the natural as a system; orders in space; as well as a dynamic symbol and metaphor used in expressing culture.By analyzing the impact of the natural conditions and geographical characteristics in the base to the space shape of the new district, a conclusion has summed up with the two axes. One studied along the longitudinal axis of the coupling spaces between the new district and the traditional urban of Central Plains. The other got the geographical differences along the transverse axis by compared similar spatial structure of cities with the new district, so as to summarize the causes of the impact of the geographical factor in new district.In addition, though a large number of researches of the new district and the city built-up area, the thesis studied aspects of a comparative analysis between the two reflect the characteristics of the regional influence between the common features, such as the architectural form and color, traffic and streets, neighborhoods and open space.At the same time, by using the research methods in semiotics to divide the cultural design contexts in Zhengdong New District into image symbols, symbols and symbolic signs, and analysis deeply of their cultural and geographical links between the expression and their own. Eventually arrived at the conclusion of this article, which is the urban landscape design in Zhengdong New District is a regional expression system, and it's a more comprehensive study of it. As well as provided a new path of the construction of the new district and the large Zhengbian New Area planning and design in future.
