Permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) has the excellence of compact structure, light weight, high power density, no rotor heats problem and simpler control system compared with the induction motor, etc. Digital control can assure the whole system work with the good performances above,flexible function,and fine ability to resist the disturbance.Micro processor DSP with high performance and the advanced power electronic devices make it possible to realize the digital control in AC PMSM drive system. This paper studies an high performance AC speed regulation system with the Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) as the executive component.This paper introduces the research status and develops future of PMSM drive system. The structure of PMSM is studied.According to vector coordinate conversion principle, The mathematic models in their type reference frame are set up.The models of PMSM in the tow-phase synchronous rotary coordinate (dq0) are deduced and obtained,which establishes the theoretical foundation for succeeding research.After that this paper discuss the vector-control strategy of PMSM. And the analysis of several control strategies of vector-control theory applied to the PMSM control, which include the i d=0control, cos ? =1 control and the max torque/current control.The paper discusses the theory of weaken flux speed control of PMSM and brings out the stator current optimum control strategy. Then, the paper analyze the theory of SVPWM and present the engineered method of PI controller design in current and voltage loop. In the thesis, combining the fuzzy control with PI control, realizes the permanent magnet synchronous motor vector control,adaptive fuzzy PI control is proposed . The method was presented to adjust the parameters of PI controller automatically according to using fuzzy reasoning on the basis of the value and the mutative direction of control speed error.It make the speed PI controler become more robust. Simulation results have demonstrated the significant performance of method.At last, the paper gives hardware circuits, soft flow, parameter design method and the experimental wave of the PMSM drive system which is designed with TMS320F2812 as the core control element. the experimental result indicates that this drive system has achieved the anticipated target for its each performance.
