Research On Traffic Impact Analysis Of Residential Project In City Heartland And Example

The purpose of this study is to propose the Traffic Impact Analysis method for the residential projects of city heartland. In recent years, with a large number of residential projects constructed in urban centers of our region, the contradictions between urban land using development and the capacity of road transportation facilities have been exacerbated. The crowded traffic in urban central areas has become a prominent and universal problem of the metropolis.By analyzing the regional characteristics of urban centers, the paper proposed the guidance method to define the scope of the central area. The constructed residential projects here have both the general characteristics and some unique attributes. Based on the analysis, the guiding ideas were identified. In order to determine the impact of new projects on the existing traffic quantitatively, the paper put forward the concept of the degree of traffic impact, and further established the analytical model. Traffic Impact Analysis is the study of specific construction projects. In this paper, the application of simulation software VISSIM can simulate the characteristics of the state of the micro traffic more accurately, which not only avoid the shortcomings of the traditional analytical methods that merely focus on the macro-analysis, neglecting the micro-study, but also brought forward a method to set improved measures and to test the improved effectiveness. Besides, combined with the MengKe Residential Project in Harbin, the paper analyzed the whole process of which the impact on the traffic of the city heartland in detail.In view of the current development of China, in the future, for a long period of time, a large number of residential projects will still be constructed in urban central areas. According to the characteristics of traffic demand of the residential products in city heartland, the paper proposed the Traffic Impact Analysis method which is applicable to the characteristics of the projects, could make coordination of land development and transportation services, plan the urban land use scientifically, and identify the traffic responsibility of developers. Therefore, the study has very important significance for alleviating urban transport crisis, and promoting the healthy and sustainable development of the city.
