Since 21st century,social development becomes more diversified and high-speed.With the further speeded-up of urbanization,urban population becomes more intensive.Because of the disintegration of big family,the population of a family has been reduced,the high-density compact settlement patterns becomes the trend of China's urban residential development Along of the further speeded-up of urbanization,the proportion of young people who is the main part of the urban life is also growing,they are just graduated and have relatively stable income,but can not afford the big house,so ultra-small dwelling products for these people gradually increases.But the facilities of these ultra-small dwellings are the same with other ordinary residential,they are matched by the public life matching system of the City.This kind of matching form can not meet the requirement of ultra-small dwelling whose residential feature is relatively simplified. Therefore,interior features of ultra-small dwelling prefer small but complete.In an ultra-small area,we should not only meet the residential function as much as possible,but also should ensure that the residential function of the rational arrangement of space, and furniture played a crucial role on the spatial distribution of ultra-small dwelling.At the same time,because the main part of the residents of ultra-small dwelling is young people,they are at the stage of changing from single to family life,the change of their life style is relatively large,and their adaptability requirements for living space is relatively high.Therefore,they require temporary and variability of the interior space layout.The feature of architectural space is the space form will be basically fixed after the completion of construction,this formed a prominent contradiction with the lifestyle of young people with changeful and fashion habits.The flexibility of space created by furniture becomes an effective way to resolve this contradiction. This paper focuses on the ultra-small dwelling construction of China, lucubrate the restrictive effect of ultra-small dwelling to space by combining it with the living habits of youth groups and corresponding it to the features of ultra-small dwelling,thus coordinate relationship between architectural design,interior design and furniture design,Do our best to save resources,develop scientifically during theprocessof constructing residential space. Achieve fine design of dwelling products and improve life-quality of youth groups.This paper includes three parts:Part 1 is composed of Chapter 1 and Chapter 2;in this part we described important effect of furniture to ultra-small dwelling space lacking of public life supporting system,defined the restrictive effect of ultra-small dwelling to space as study object.Part 2 is composed of Chapter 3,in this part we discoursed restrictive pattern of furniture to space.Part 3 is composed of Chapter 4,in this part we discoursed furniture design circumstances for adapting requirement of ultra-small dwelling space change.
