The stepping motor is a key component of electromechanical integration and has been applied widely in modern industry and daily life.In the recent years,with the rapid development of electronic, computer,and power electronic technology,the stepping motor control system has become increasingly popular because of their higher control accuracy.The dissertation presents a review on the related techniques and researching trends of the stepping motor control system in detail.The working principle and the corresponding driving method are analyzed, where the hybrid stepping motor is the main control object.Based on the requirements and functions of stepping motor,a novel stepping motor control system based on System on Pragrammbale Chip(SOPC) and Niosâ…¡processor is proposed.For the present technology,the Niosâ…¡soft-core processor has been applied in the whole control system.By using adequately the Niosâ…¡and the related development tools,the dissertation presents a comprehensive circuit control design of the Niosâ…¡processing system and develops a friendly working interface. Moreover,the embedded processing platform of the stepping motor control system is built up.In addition,based on the designed stepping motor control system and the corresponding theory of the microstepping control of stepping motor,a microstepping control system of stepping motor based on Niosâ…¡are designed.The modules of the system are designed by Verilog HDL.The main modules include the D/A converter circuit,the stepping motor drive circuit,and the PWM controller circuits.The key objective of the design is to apply Niosâ…¡technology into the construction of the corresponding hardware and software platform of the microstepping stepping motor control system.Based on the Hardware Abstraction Layer(HAL),the dissertation studies the construction technique and method of the software platform using Niosâ…¡processor.Furthermore,the dissertation attaches a detailed main program,subprogram,interrupt subprogram for all important presses,and software platform constructions.The experiment results show that the design in this dissertatio has achieved its scheduled functions.In a summary,the dissertation mainly proposes a new implementation method of the stepping motor control sysytem based on the technique of embedded Niosâ…¡in FPGA.The proposed method can be effectively applied in some industrial and commercial systems.
