Study On The Modular Design Of Integrated Cupboard

The integrated cupboard becomes modularized, individualized, artistic and harmonious when the market competition gets fiercer under the rapid economic development and the improvement of people's living conditions. The trend of integrated cupboard develops fast while consumers'demands become more individualized. The modular design will make it individualized and improve the efficiency while reducing the cost.The integrated cupboard is a multifunctional and multicolored kitchen facility matching with the styles of home decoration. It takes the kitchen furniture as its core and integrates cooking with washing and storing. Modularization is an effective way to coordinate the different demands in designing, ensure the overall effectiveness of the integrated system and generate various forms as well as reduce the cost. It will be good for standardized design and normative management and making good use of modern technology if this concept is applied in industry design system. This paper puts forward this conception after the study of modular design of integrated cupboard current situation abroad and interior. It explores the designing methods and steps in modularization: the integral design, the module partition and establishment, the module selection and combination, and its aesthetic design.
