This thesis designs a testbed for synthetical power cupboard of ShaoShan electric locomotive. Design the main circuit for experimental subjects (the silicon controlled board and the steadied-wave board), and supply the state of simulation. By the medium of changing the input voltage, offering corresponding showing instrument, to test the targets whether conform with the design requirements.The circuit of controlling synthesize power cupboard is half bridge controlling rectification circuit, whose input is alternating current form railway system. The output of rectification circuit passes the circuit consisting of a resistor and a capacitor, which is a voltage wave filter. After the wave filter circuit, it charges the locomotive battery, and supplies power to the controlling system. The silicon controlled board consists of the synchronism signal, power, voltage regulator, move - touch off form. It has the protecting function in case of the input or output voltage is exaggerated. It can steady the output voltage at 110V. By adjusting the input voltage to test it whether work stably. By adjusting the feedback current to test it whether works safely in the case of fault.The steadied-wave board works by the technology of PWM and thyristor. It can work at 100 kHz frequency. It has the protecting function in case of the input or output voltage is exaggerated. It can protect every output channel. To detect the function of the steadied-wave board, the output of the steadied-wave board can be connected with two pieces of shuntwound resistors. While acting as the disconnection of a resistor among them, the steadied-wave board works on the rating state. When this resistor is turned on, the steadied-wave board works on exaggerated current state, then measure and test whether conform with the design requirements.The MCU system mainly tests 10 pieces of analog signals, including 15V,24V and 48V voltages form the Z157, and 5V,±15V,±24V voltages form the Z33. In general, it is more suitable to select ADC0816 for use.The testbed uses Atmel89c52 Micro Controller Unit with 8K ROM and 256B RAM. Its expansion includes I/O expanding chip 8255A, memory chip 6264, programmable keyboard and display interface chip 8279, 74LS373, decoder 74LS138, and 74LS74.The computer system comprises with them. In order to realize the function of intercommunication with human, the testbed ought to afford the LED display, the keyboard, and the interface of the printer at the same time.
