The Research And Design Of Underground Commercial Space Of The HOPSCA

The HOPSCA is the inevitable result of the social demand and the economical development.The many different functions such as commerce,work,housing,hotel, restaurant,meeting,exhibition and entertainment facilities were being unified and synthesized by the HOPSCA.The HOPSCA create a building form that integrate many urban functions on the limited city land at a high degree,and use the land resource in a highly effective and reasonable way.It is advantageous in saving funds,energy and the city public utility.At the same time it takes more convenient and comfortable for our life,enriched the landscape of the city.It also resolved urban population contradiction effective in some conditions.The practice proves that development and utility of urban underground space greatly expands building space capacity and enhances the environment quality in cities. More projects verify that development and utility of underground space for the HOPSCA is feasible.The most distinct feature of underground space is closure,which cannot be easily integrated into natural environment.Business space surely is closely related to people's actions and psychology.How to create an architectural space that satisfies function requirements as well as spiritual and aesthetic demands? This is a problem that we are facing now.This paper aims to explore and study real problems encountered by underground business space.The author of this paper takes the functional features of underground business space of the HOPSCA as the breakthrough point.Through analysis from the perspective of environment,the author proposes the channels and methods of developing a feasible pattern for underground business space in order to create an underground business space attracting more consumers in shopping,leisure,and entertainment.With a combination of theories and cases,the author makes a research in underground business space of the HOPSCA,analyzes many typical designs especially in Beijing and Xi'an,and makes a summary of advantages and disadvantages of these designs for further verification of the chalmels and methods proposed in this paper.
