The urban commercial complex is the product of the development of the urban complex.The commercial complex is a space capable of accommodating people’s various activities,which is characterized by high efficiency,complexity,and unity.It has guided the upgrading and transformation of commercial real estate.Using the large-scale shopping malls as a carrier,it has gradually developed into HOPSCA,viz.complexes of hotels,offices,parks,shopping malls,clubs and apartments.In recent years,commercial complexes have been developing rapidly in China.However,the landscape design of commercial complexes lags behind and is often based on the European and American styles.The space created is difficult to adapt to the work and living habits of people in various regions.Zhengzhou Evergrande splendor commercial complex is a high-end real estate project developed by Evergrande Group in Zhengzhou.The project was developed under the urban development strategy of Zhengzhou--“eastward expansion,northward movement,and cross-river development”.The project is a typical case of commercial complex development in the new situation.The study of the landscape of the commercial complex of Evergrande splendor in the commercial complex landscape is of great research significance.This paper takes Zhengzhou Evergrande splendor world commercial complex landscape design as the research object.First,the research background and theoretical basis of this research topic is proposed.Second,Zhengzhou Evergrande’s location,natural resources,and cultural origins is investigated in depth.The paper also analyzes the style,viewpoint effect,and space utilization of commercial complexes and find the problems based on statistical data.Then the according methods are explored combined with the actual conditions of commercial complexes.The conclusions are as follows.First,the commercial complex landscape can be designed to form regional characteristics by deeply integrating with the site historical context.Second,the landscape and architectural space interact,and the external space and interior space are deeply merged.Third,the node landscape model should not be modularized,but be varying with the space transition.Fourth,the layout of spatial functions should be fully optimized,taking both utilization and aesthetics as equal considerations.The paper conducts an in-depth study of the historical and cultural and landscape characteristics of Zhengzhou Evergrande splendor commercial complex,and a brand-new design for Zhengzhou Evergrande splendor commercial complex landscape has also been made.
