Study On Reducing Labor Injury Of Computer Operators Based On Subjective Feeling

Along with the development of the information technology,the renovation of the office furniture,especially the usage of the computer,a main characteristic of the today's office work is VDT(Visual Display Terminal),the wide application of the computer and relevant equipments,such as printer,Fax-machine,telephone, etc.At the same time,more and more computer operators are exposed to the hurt brought by the occupational diseases,therefore,how to reduce their labor injury became the focus of this paper.The ergonomics is an integrated subject involved in anatomy,bio mechanics, engineering science,psychology and physiology etc.Up to now,there is little research and application about the reduction of the computer operators' labor injuries,especially the methods based on the multiple factors.According to some papers which researched this problem based on the single factor,the methods are summarized.Then the method of how to reduce the labor injuries based on the multiple factors will be obtained.This paper has taken a computer operator as research object.First of all,analyses the factors which may cause the computer operators' labor injuries,then determines the key factors:time,posture,stress and environment.Make the questionnaire based on the rule of how to make the attitude scale questionnaire and RULA.Then analysis the reliability and validity of the questionnaire.Investigate the time(the operator sitting before the computer),the posture,the stress,the environment(the office) and the hurt,using investigation method of the questionnaire.On this basis,we can get a mathematical model between the four factors(time,posture,stress and environment) and the hurt with the use of the statistical methods.Then we can obtain some measures purposefully to adjust the hurt.Then the computer operators' labor injuries will be reduced. Finally an example will be given.The study on the four factors which may cause the labor injuries,the mathematical model of the computer operator risk index,and the application in this paper are valuable reference for the application of the reduction of the labor injuries.The theory and the model in this paper will reduce the labor injuries very well,so the study is applicable.
