The objective of the research is the plant landscape in 30 star classes suburbs Rural Pleasures in Changsha ,Hunan Province.It was by the method of the collection of literature materials , the analytic synthesis and the on-the-spot investigation, and it bases on analyzing the present situation of the plant landscape at suburb Rural Pleasures in Changsha, Hunan Province, It unified the related theory knowledge of landscape ecology, landscape esthetics and the landscape safety and so on, investing new designing methods of the plant landscape of the suburb Rural Pleasures theoretically.The innovative designing took the Li suburb Rural Pleasures as an example practically, It was also a reference of the sustainable development of landscape in Rural Pleasures. The main research achievements as follow:(1) The designing of the suburb Rural Pleasures must base on maintaining the local characteristic, act as circumstances permit,fully take the original afforested tree seed, the crops carries on the landscape as the plant material to build.It is essential to emerge the concept of the combination of the industry and landscape. The designer can accord with the different areas, the various type of trees and the values of observation to arrange rationally.That will not only optimize the industrial structure, but also highlighte the character of agricultural landscape, and reveal the the agro-farming culture and native soil local trait.(2) The design should make basic adjustment from pattern of farming, Change traditional field produce, for pattern of main fact, strengthen fruit tree, vegetables, flowers appreciative value better industry, Setting up the view with higher ecological stability and diversified. Pay attention to the appreciative value of the farmland view, make it form the rural view environment of outskirts of art.(3) The plant landscape design in the forest land should be on the condition that keeping original natural vegetation and varieties of trees, dispose plants according to the difference of its functions.
