Recently, Accidents about construction happened sometimes, and caused intense public attention. Architectural characters decide that the progress of construction is one which easily leads to accidents, so management of construction safety must be strengthened to reduce the possibility of accidents. Comparing to some developed countries, China's situation about construction safety is still negative. At present, the market of construction in China is correspondingly disordered. Most of architecture enterprises is limited in safety monitoring, advanced management countermeasures, information technology and reasonable methods to handle accidents.There are several major management methods to improve construction situation in China, such as building the management system of construction safety to unify different management methods, Making construction safety in cycles by spreading safety culture because construction safety is strongly connected to the training and education to construction personnel, applying advanced information technology and management methods, such as Vitual Reality technology, Information System of Safety Management, Fussy Judgement Method, and Safety Grading Judgement which based on the theory of Neural Networks etc., can greatly reduce the possibility of construction accidents.PDCA (Deming Cycle) is a kind of method which can improve safety management by keeping four steps (Plan, Do, Check, Action) regularly, systematically cycling, is also a mode which must be carried out under the advancing of safety system and personnel cooperation to accord with its characters, cycling and improving. We compared with two similar cases about construction in the city of nanchong, found out illegal construcion and blocking of operation in safety system occurred in the one without PDCA which is also in short of technical files. This situation resulted in a serious accident with 2 person died and 3persons injuried. On the contrary, though the case under PDCA management occurred the similar problems with the former one. After running the PDCA cycles for 3 times, Construction enterprise roundly checked the hidden troubles, set down corresponding tactics by analyzing these deficiencies. Summarization was also maken at the A step of each cycle to ensure all these tactics were well running. As a result, no casualties were found in this construction case and every related parted went well. Enterprise also saved money through reasonably cleaned up all tools and materials, and won a positive report in construction market.PDCA cycle is a very useful method to avoid casualty in the process of construction, and should be wildly spreaded in this industry. |
