| Because of low cost, green and suitable for automatic packaging, the carton packages were used extensively. Carton structure design was gradually changed from manual operation to computer-aided design. The carton CAD software development became a investigative hotspot in the packaging field.Selected AutoCAD as a developing platform and Visual Basic 6.0 as a developing tool, this article took full account of carton structure design theory and practicability factors, and realized parametric design and projects'checkout. This system which developed by this article could complete packaging structure design rapidly, and apply other function modules which based on expert knowledge. It could improve working efficiency and operational performance. This article complete some works as bellow:(1) The classified method about common cartons had been summed up. Based on the standardizing processing, this article built mathematical models about cartons and their components.(2) Selected Visual Basic6.0 as the developing tool, the carton structure managing system controlled AutoCAD by ActiveX Automation technology, drew carton structures by secondary development environment and strong drawing ability of AutoCAD, and completed the setting of initial environment on drawing in AutoCAD by SCR technology.(3) By using parametric design, building carton structure and their components database, and applying whole-structure design and elements-joint structure design methods, the carton structure managing system's interface was friendly and it was easy to master. The structural database was based upon VB procedure code. Portability was one of aspects of this database.(4) The carton structure managing system had the good character of openness, extensibility and cross platform capability. Besides, through the packaging and deployment tool, it could make the system into installing program, which realized the aim of practicality. |
