In order to make a full use of the soil resource, the owner connected the garage with the main basement. On the plane of the basement, the part without the top head is used as greening garden and passing lane, and the passing lane also as functions as the channel for fire-fighting. So the load of the fire engine, the spread of the load on the earth covering, the effect of load on the pipe ditch side and the effect on the outside wall of the basement are taken into first and important consideration during the designing. The live-load standard of fire engine provided in the Load Code is too rough and it doesn't show the law that the load will decrease as the span of the slab increase. In some cases, the value in the Load Code is too small for the designer to use in the practical project. The relationship between the thickness of the earth covering and the coefficients of power is not shown in the Load Code, and the designer doesn't pay enough attention to the spread of load, resulting in an unnecessary waste. When the applicable condition of the equivalent load is not definite, as for the floor slab with a long span, the joint effect of several vehicles should also be taken into much more consideration. The influence of the fire engine on the inside wall of pipe ditch, the variation of the angle of rupture of the earth and the iterative computations caused by the load of the fire engine in the theory of active earth pressure as earth weight have not been made a systematical research. This paper analyzes the effect of the fire engine load on the design of the members in different conditionsors, the following fact are performed: First, the analysis of the equivalent internal force of the concrete slab under the load carrying capacity; Second, the statistical analysis of the equivalent averagely distributed load of the one-way slab in different conditions; Third, the finite element analysis and statistical analysis of the equivalent averagely distributed load of the two-way slab under the live load carrying capacity; Fourth, the analysis of the effect the inside force of the fire engine load on the pipe ditch side and the outside wall of the main building basement; Fifth, the analysis of the averagely distributed pressure value of the fire engine load on the pipe ditch top slab.
