Recently, along with the large capacity and high speed of computer and the development of CFD technology, it's possible gradually to apply and popularize CFD technology to simulate the air conditioning of large space constructions. The Designer can choose Air Distribution which can appease the comfortable of human and provide good indoor air quality through the prediction of indoor air organizations and the analysis of various parameters in the design stage.For this purpose, with the aid of Airpak2.1, thermal comfort and air distribution of air conditioning with displacement ventilation, delaminated air conditioning and conventional air conditioning are simulated in Xi'an high-tech company multi-function hall. Through detail expatiation on CFD by mathematic method, the results indicate that it is feasible to simulate operation of air conditioning system in large space building. On the basis of above, the air distribution of three air conditioning modes, especially the temperature, wind speed, PMV-PPD and typical cross-section of the flow field are contrasted and analyzed. Finally summed up, three air conditioning modes are all fit for the requirement.The displacement ventilation with good distribution and air quality, has greater potentiality for energy conservation than other forms in Large Space Building.This example exhibits the important function and development space of CFD technology in the optimum designing of air conditioning system. The conclusion of study provide a reliable theoretical basis and guiding methodology in air-conditioning systems optimized design, prediction of air distribution and thermal comfort.
