The atrium has large space,on the one hand,it can provide the space for people to communicate,on the other hand,plant and water are often applied to the design of the atrium which constitutes a micro ecosystem to form a micro climate within the building.Through the effect of the greenhouse and the effect of the chimney effect,we have successfully constructed a low energy consumption ecological space.Therefore,the construction of atrium design,can not only make the user feel happy,but also save energy.However,in reality often find that many air conditioning systems of the atriums are not properly designed,unbearably hot in summer,cold and biting in winter.As a result,the energy saving of the air conditioning in large space buildings is attracting increasing attention in building research.For energy conservation and to achieve a more efficient air conditioning system,the stratified air conditioning sys-tem is suggested for large space buildings.In this paper,use a large shopping mall in Shenyang as an example to build a model according to the actual size of the building and interior design parameters.Use the method of combining numerical simulation and theoretical analysis to study on stratified air conditioning system.Three dimensional numerical simulation of temperature field,velocity field,PMV and PPD distribution in high atrium is carried out by using Airpak software.And the simulation results are analyzed in detail.First of all,the research status of atrium and stratified air conditioning of tall building is introduced.And then analyze the shortcomings of the current research to put forward the research objective and content.And then introduce the stratified air conditioning technology,including some basic concepts,stratified air conditioning load calculation method,stratified air conditioning air flow organization calculation,etc.And the basic method and process of numerical simulation are introduced.Also calculate stratified air conditioning cooling load when the stratification height changes.The results are as follows,h2=4m,air conditioning cooling load is 25650.84W,the saving rate is 28.52%;h2=6m,air conditioning cooling load is 26109.10W,the saving rate is 26.97%;h2=8m,air conditioning cooling load is 26813.02W,the saving rate is 25.26%;h2=10m,air conditioning cooling load is 28030.546W,the saving rate is21.89%;h2=12m,air conditioning cooling load is 28916.02W,the saving rate is 19.43%?Build a three dimensional physical model by using Airpak software and simplify the physical model.Select the appropriate outlet model,choose appropriate control equations,select the appropriate turbulence model and establish appropriate boundary conditions.Then the simulation analysis of the thermal environment of the tall atrium using Airpak software is carried out.
