The proportion of architectural energy consumption in the total energy consumption of China is 20%~25%, and half of it is used for heating supplied. So the economic of heating supply system is really worthy to be studied.Several kinds of heating supply system exists in china, and what is studied in this paper is the economic operation of small-size manual operation boiler plants and small and medium-size machining boilers plant with low temperature hot water direct connected network, and it bases on the scientific research with a heating company in Harbin in 2006-2007 heating period. The key points of this research are:1. Gave directions on the operation according to the outside temperature.2. Check and collectes the indoor temperatures as a feedback for the output of the heating supply.3. the hydraulic balance of the system is done.4. The network is regulated..5. The insulation of the system is intensified so the energy loss of the network is reduced.Technical materials and data of the heating system economic operation is collected in the heating period, meanwhile, historical disadvantages of the system are fixed and the operation conditions is improved. An abundant experience on the economic operation is obtained. A mass of data of this kind of heating system is collected and disposed, especially the consumption of the coal, the water the electricity, and these data is converted by standard inside and outside temperature, 180 days which is normal quality of the days of the heating period in Harbin. The small-scale low temperature direct heating system, which are common in northeast china, is studied deeply in this paper, worthy applicable data and conclusions is achieved, the adopted methods and conclusions can be referred for the similar heating systems in northeast China.
