The building of ship and ocean platform on flat ground is an important revolution in shipbuilding. Some key technology of building on flat ground has been studied in this thesis, with the building of jack-up platform as an example. As one of the most important key technology of shipbuilding on ground, the launching relying on air-bags is studied deeply. The main contents are as follows,1) With jack-up platform as the objective product of shipbuilding on flat ground, some key technique is discussed and investigated;2) The number and the layout of the air-bags in launching out are studied. Based on the calculation of friction force of the air-bags, the selection ofwinch, cable and degree of slop are discussed.3) The principles of spring launching calculation are introduced. The basic process of FEM model building is described. The methods of adding boundary conditions and loads are given. The FEM model of a 45000DWT tanker is built, and the structural strength is calculated.The study is beneficial to systematically understand and master the technology of building on flat ground. Especially, the FEM assessment of ship hull structure strength is useful to form a method of ensuring the safety of launching with air-bags.
