In order to resolve the strength problem of 74500DWT bulk carrier on launching way,two aspects of problem are investigated in this report:1) the analysis and calculation of the force act on the hull and the launching way when ship launching;2) the strength analysis and calculation of bottom structure in forward area during ship launching.Firstly,the ship's launching is divided into four stages according to the normal practice. The detail analysis of force act on hull and launching way are discussed for each stage in this report. The theoretic of calculate the react force act on the launching way also be investigated. The actual react force for 74500DWT bulk carrier are discussed and calculated,special for the third stage when ship's stern lift.Secondly,for 74500DWT bulk carrier,the strength calculation and analysis of bottom structure in forward area,which bear big act force during ship launching,are carried out. According to the calculation,the strength of bottom structure is complying with the requirement of launching as this area designed reasonable.
