| The launching of a ship is the first tribulation that it have to experience in its lifetime. With the development of new ship type, introduce of new shipbuilding technology and the aging of slipways, The damages of launching ship and slipway often take place nowadays. Therefore, a valid and feasible calculation of the strength to forecast the launching ship's safety is especially in need.In this article: A strength analysis of hull girder and local structure is put into deep discuss, according to a real launching ship.Firstly, the hydrostatic and elastic calculation method in the end launching strength analysis is summarized. It is valid and feasible to replace the reactive force of elastic foundation with a series of spring foundation, in local safety analysis.Secondly, based on the strength analysis of 5618TEU container launching, a model of ship considered as an elastic beam on an elastic foundation and a key hold are built. With the direct reactive force method and spring foundation method, the key hold local strength is analyzed, and two results are gotten.
