On behave of the current development direction of Marine Power, Marine Integral Power System(IPS) is characterized by promoting the combining of the propulsion system and electric system. In the world, many countries have already had the series of products of the IPS motor module. But there is no precedent which using combined power plant as the motor module. Because The Combined gas turbine and gas turbine (COGAG) power plant has unique advantages such as good mobility and small weight, the research on IPS motor module using COGAG will have an important significance.Firstly, the power generation module was modeled and simulated with MATLAB/Simulink simulation tools in the dissertation. The system is comprised of the gas turbine model, SSS Clutch model, combination gear box model and electric system model based on the modular design. Secondly, the dynamic processes of the turbine, the mesh process of the Clutch, the combination, load transfer and breakaway of the COGAG generating electricity module were simulated. Finally, the displacement curve simulation of the 3S Clutch under the different rate and damping, the speed, power, voltage, current, frequency of the module for single and dual-mode and the displacement variety rule of sliding component when meshing and breaking were achieved. The power distribution of the COGAG is important for the stable and reliable operation of the COGAG generating electricity module. The control principle and the advantages and disadvantages of four control modes——joint operating control method of multiple speed controller, master slave speed controller, parallel speed controller with feedback power and single speed controller which were always adopted in the combined twin-engine at present are introduced in this dissertation. The load distribution approaches were studied. A suitable operation mode for the COGAG generating electricity module was obtained and was also simulated.
