The distribution of electric power facilities is very significant in electric power construction. In order to ensure the reasonable advancing development of high-voltage power grid, and meet the demands of power load increase in Wenling, it is necessary and urgent to carry through researches on the distribution of electric power facilities and to combine it with the overall city planning in order to meet the needs of space to be used for substations and transmission lines.Based on the overall city planning and power grid planning in Wenling area, this article determines the methods of power load forecasting, analyzes the balance of electric power supply and demand, and finally arranges the space layout of power facilities, especially plans and sets aside space for 35kV and above substation sites and transmission line corridors. Besides, the method and objective of Wenling's power grid development planning is determined to be "combination of long and short terms". According to the short term forecasted power load demand, detailed short-term plans for key construction projects of power facilities are developed.
