Along with the development of national economy, especially with the execution of west exploitation policy, basic establishment constructions, such as water conservancy, railway ,highway & city construction ,etc, are in the ascendant. Slope stability analysis is involved in all these engineering without exception. Therefore slope stability analysis is a basic problem that must be attached importance to. All the while, study for stability is a hot & difficult point in engineering.The stability of soil slope has been researched very well, and many programs are developed. Compared to soil slope, the stability of rock slope needs further research because rock Structure is complex, and the stability is mainly controlled by the discontinous structure planes.All in all , although many countries put so much efforts and energies to it, and got many effective works and damage decreases so much,we still see that we cann't tell if a slope is stable or not only from one factor because of its complexity. The numeric methods can simulate many conditions of the slope, such as its boarding condition and geology environment, so in this paper, the author will do the following:①discuss and analyze the factors that influence the slope stability and the choice of parameters of the simulation model, such asΦthat symbols fiction coefficient.②On base of discussing the factors that control the stability, the author uses FEM program to simulate the condition of slope ,and give contour of stress and the possible damage zone . The result provides useful suggestion to the engineering.
