The dissertation is on the research of for the Methodology of Ecology Planning and Architecture Design. Hot-summer and cold-winter zone in China as the chosen climatical background , Taking The Planning and Design of Junchuan highway service area , Suiyue Highway, as study case, the research covers the whole design process and abstracts the conclusion concerning Methodology.Through massive literature reading and to the domestic 17 highway service areas inspection, the author has carried on detailed combing to the planning and design of the domestic and foreign highways service areas with the analysis, also absorbed experiences and teaches, which takes the Sichuan service area plan design premise rationale.Firstly, the author carries on the exhaustive analysis to the Junchuan service area base, mainly includes the landform, the climates, the environment, local material, as reality basis of planning and architectural design.Then, analyzes the service area planning pattern, and compare them one by one, concerning the site character of the Junchuan service area, the planning pattern would be chosen which most suit the site, and proves its feasibility.Based on choice, concerning the service area main function, we get the site planning, and deal with each kind of question which meets from the ecology angle, including ventilates, the environmental pollution, the scenic resources use and the protection, the land utilization, and so on.Through the analysis to the type of service area plan, chooses the concentrated monomer plane form, considered the site, the ventilate, the natural lighting, the landscapes function requests, which forms the plane .Finally forms the entire project.Moreover, the author considered the northwest side of the site, and made a full proof and the analysis as the wetland sewage treatment system feasibility. Through the transformation of the site, combine the wetland sewage treatment system and the scenery system, and at last formed the wetland landscape area.The study idea is based on the principles of theory to practice, from a conceptual idea to a practical (real) ideology down to the practical design conclusion. This research and study provided an opportunity to develop a practical research programmer structure in the form of ideal passive design model. This passive design idea is a suggestive one in the sense that it reflects an ideal solution to basic ecological designs goals.
