The contactor is the electrical apparatus which needs frequent operation, so the mechanicallife and the electricity life must be long, but the dynamic characteristic of contact has directlyaffected its life , thus in order to guarantee the certain service life, the research to the dynamiccharacteristic of contact must be carried on. The goal of studying the dynamic response model ofcontact : calculating the operating time of the contact device, to definite reasonable coordinationbetween the suction and the reaction , it can guarantee the movement reliability, and improve themachinery collision, enhances the electrical and the mechanical life. This paper chose CJ20-25AC contactor as research object , and implemented dynamic simulation of closing process ofcontact of the contactor. At last analyse the good and bad points between PRO/E and ADAMS .First, a 3D model of actuating mechanism of AC contactor was established using thePro/ENGINEER software.. Thus may increase a series of correlation data which is force withrelation of air gap and different closing angle to the full-scale mockup which obtained arrivesfrom ANSOFT software, then realization to model dynamic simulation.Second, Using the software of PRO/E, we can simulate and analysis contacts' collision andbouncing. The contacts are in collision contactor or in non-collision contactor. The contacts are indifferent closing angle. The actual work of the three-phase contacts with different parameters ofthe spring is simulated , also, the bounce of contact is carried out.Thirdly, Compare the result which obtained arrives from PRO/E with the result and theactual result which obtained arrives from ADAMS . Compared the good and bad points of twokind of software , through the contrast the different data curve from two kind of platformssoftware and measured data curve.This topic analyzes the good and bad points of two kind of software by contrasting, Theresearch results in this paper is significant to researching dynamic characteristics andoptimization of AC contactor.This project combined the national natural science fund project"study on uncertainty ofdynamic response of contact of counterpunching AC contactor"with the aid of the NationalNatural Science Foundation of China.
