With the rapid development of highway construction, the monolithic concrete plate bridge has been abroad applied for its specific advantage. In the investigate and maintenance of ChengDe area, there are many severe longitudinal crack along the orientation of vehicle drive have been found at the surface of tensile region. In this situation, through particularly investigate we received the main reason of monolithic concrete plate bridge's longitudinal crack: The plate bridge with big width to span ratio is two-way force slab and the transverse force is big. However, the amount of transverse reinforcement is not enough.According to these, the article is study and analyze longitudinal crack of monolithic concrete plate bridge and forcing status through the concrete structure crack theory, the monolithic concrete plate bridge design theory, bridge space theory and FEM analysis. Workout the plate bridge longitudinal moment uses the method of load effective distribute width. Workout the plate bridge transverse moment separately uses the method of orthographic plate and transverse rigid joints method. Then we process the FEM analyze use the ANSYS receive forcing status at the deadweight and the most disadvantage load and compare with the structure calculate outcome.As to those crack that has already exist, we should reinforce it with different method according to different crack status. There are two mature reinforce technology is commend to use, one is grouting block method, the other is felt armor plate.
