This paper based on the needs of the operation of the cold-condenser-system,in the light of the plate heat exchanger's some features,such as compact,efficient etc.Using the plate condenser instead of the tube-condenser was proposed.This paper was reasearched from two different levels.First level was studied from the design optimization of the plate-condenser.Againist the specific circumstances of the Nantun 50MW power plant unit,put forword a design blue print about the plate-condenser, the plate heat exchanger structure has been optimized.At the same time the performance of the two different heat exchangers were evaluated by the indicators combined resistance and heat transfer characteristics ,to compare it and tube-condenser performance merits.The second level was studied from the 300MW cool-end-system's economy,the changed conditions were considered when analysizing the impact to the whole system. At the end of the paper the technical and economic comparison was used to demonstrate the plate condenser's advantages.Provide some references for the application of the plate-condenser in power plant unit in the future.
