Plate heat exchangers,with its good heat transfer performance,are used in chemical, petrochemical,metallurgical and other fields of the heat exchange process,and with the structure of plate heat exchangers continuously improving,the design and the range of operation parameters are increasingly large.This paper,according the working condition scope of condenser in thermal power unit and the requirements of heat transfer and flow characteristics,carries out a feasibility study on plate heat exchangers replacing the traditional tube-and-shell heat exchangers.It is carried out from two aspects:the performance test of typical plate heat exchanger and the calculation of thermal performance in cooling-end system of power unit.For a thermal power units,from the perspective of heat transfer and resistance characteristics,this paper proposes a design plan of the plate condenser and compares and analyzes the performance of original tube-and-shell condenser.The results provide a reference for plate heat exchangers used in power station cooling-end system.
