In this paper, the static and dynamic cushion performances of three different types of sticked corrugated paperboard pads--3A,3B and BAB were researched. 3A,3B and BAB were sticked with A,B and AB corrugated paperboard respectively. The related studies and results have been listed as follows.The bending properties of BAB under the condition of the same temperature and the different humilities were tested in the paper. It showed that with the increase of humidity, the elastic range of the bending becomes narrower, and the times for the beginning of flat range and succumbing range become shorter. The results of the bending tests of 3A in different bending directions (CD and MD) show that the anisotropism of the corrugated paperboard is evident.The static cushion properties of three pads were also studied in the paper, and it showed that the number of the peaks in the curve is corresponding with the number of the layers in the corrugated paperboard, and the layer with the least intension is succumbed firstly, and the others succumb according to the intension.The dynamic cushion properties of the three different pads were tested, and the accelerations under different height and different static strain are compared. The analyzing results show that the dynamic cushion properties of the corrugated paperboard should depend on stress- cushion coefficient curve instead of stress-the maximum acceleration curve.The fragile vale of the plate glass was tested and the disrepair curve of the glass was protracted. According to the disrepair curve of the glass, 3B structure was chosen to pack the plate glass. At the same time, the creep property of 3B structure was tested and the creep curve indicated that the creep property of 3B structure is excellent and can be used as cushion pads.Three types of 3B cushion pads for the plate glass were designed, and then tested under the frequency conversion vibration, the same frequency vibration, and the free falling test. The optimization for the cushion pads for the plate glass was done based on the vibration tests.
