Study On Evolution Of The Spatial Pattern In Nanchang Urban Fringe

Urban fringe is the city's outlying areas of the building areas and is also the area from the city to the rural, It is a special area and has the obvious characteristics of the urban and rural in its own domain and promote expansion in the process of urbanization , which has the city and rural elements in a gradual transition,the mutual penetration and complementary function .With the rapid of the process of urbanization , the city develops fast outward .Urban fringe is becoming the most dynamic place and it is also a vague edge, a changing edge, a complex edge and a hope edge , In the future , urban fringe will be the focus of the region with the city development.Urban fringe is an important part of the city spatial structure , the research of urban fringe has a vital role to develop the city and solve the city problem .The development of urban fringe is a dynamic process, the today's rural areas may be the tomorrow's urban fringe, so the urban fringe of the spatial pattern also constantly change.In this paper, the urban fringe of Nanchang city is the target areas as research, focusing on the spatial pattern of the urban fringe of Nanchang's evoluting process, and making a simple definition to Nanchang's urban fringe . then , analysis the factors of the evolution in the spatial pattern in Nanchang urban fringe . The main factors have the economical factor of the city development , transportation and communication technological development ,land prices, suburban relations, regional factors, the people's cultural psychological and behavioral factors, policy and planning efforts . Nanchang constantly expand and the urban fringe of the spatial pattern constantly change .but it must face a series of problems in the process of changing. The paper elaborates the problems from four aspects: the contradiction between the development of the city and the protection of natural resources in the urban fringe, the ecological deterioration, the damage to the rural landscape, the problems of planning and management. Finally, giving some advice to the development of Nanchang urban fringe in the future and analysis the development trend of Nanchang urban fringe.
