Research On Hazard Identification And Safety Management Of Building Construction

Status and function of construction industry are becoming more and more prominent in country's economy. However, the work safety of building construction is not optimistic. The serious accidents arise frequently, which bring great losses to construction companies, worker, families and society.Firstly, the actuality of work safety and management in construction industry and primary safety problems of worksite were analyzed in this paper. It is pointed out that the construction management department should be the principal part of work safety management. A necessary work safety guarantee system of construction sites would be established for the construction management department. Then the emphasis was given to the identification and the assessment of hazard and environment factors for building construction sites. Thus being made up for OHSMS and Work Safety Guarantee System of Construction Sites.Finally, based on the specific projects, the identification of hazard and environment factors of work sites was done and discussed. The major hazard and environment factors were assessed according to different methods such as LEC. The work safety guarantee system of construction sites was established. The work safety management methods and measures were defined for the project. The paper was provided with direction and use for reference to building construction same as it.
