Study On The Safety Management Of Highway Construction

With economic rapid growth, roads as an important infrastructure of national economicdevelopment, which goes in a period of rapid construction and development, has made greatachievements. As highway construction has wide range, many points, long lines, longconstruction period, mobility construction and affected by natural conditions and othercharacteristics, accidents continue to occur associated with highway construction work. It hasbecome an important constraint factor to its development, and has aroused widespreadconcern. How to improve safety management in highway construction, establish aprevention-oriented long-term road safety construction management mechanisms, achievehighway safety construction, according to the characteristics of highway construction. Itbecomes an important issue that needs addressing for the study of a highway constructionsafety management.Road construction safety management is a standardization and scientific management toensure the highway project construction’s safety in the construction process and in order tosecure for the purpose of safety. It is not only the basic security for the highway constructionproduction and the foundation for the smooth conduct of the work, but also is the basis tosurvival and sustainable development for enterprises in the competition. It will directly affectthe economic efficiency of the construction, protect the personal health and safety of theconstruction workers, and promote the building of a harmonious society to achieve roadconstruction safety.In this paper, according to the status of the frequent construction accidents, first,statistical analysis of the law of the highway construction accidents types, and summaryanalysis of the accident caused, and then carry out a theory studies to the hazard’sidentification, evaluation, control during highway construction process, and then use thesestudies to address the safety management existed in the project in chicken tiger section ofHeilongjiang freeway. It will improve safety of construction project, reduce and preventaccidents, and protect personal health and safety of the construction workers.
