Research And Design On Train Flow Diagram Drawing And Management System

Train flow diagram represents the freight train marshalling plan and the passenger train operation plan by graph. It is the basis of planning and organization of the railage. As the information construction for the railway system is gradually conducted, the manual drawing up of train flow diagram can no longer meet the requirements. The manual way tends to be replaced by the computer-aided way. Therefor, the research and design of the Tain Flow Diagram Drawing System is highly significant for improving the diagram drawing efficiency, and for network information sharing.The work in the thesis is focused on the requirements analysis, the system design and the algorithm of drawing the train flow diagram. Based on the information contained in the train flow diagram and the data in the Train Diagram System, an algorithm based on train routes is realized. In the meantime, the research and design work is conducted on a sub-system of B/S mode, Train Flow Information Management and Publishing Sub-system, for the sake of network managing and information sharing.The thesis is organized as follows. Chapter 1 gives a brief presentation of the status quo of the research on computer-aided train flow diagram drawing in the world. Chapter 2 is focused on the detailed requirements analysis. Chapter 3 is mainly on the system structure design of C/S and B/S mixed mode, and the design of sub-system functions, on referring to the system target and the principle of system designing. Chapter 4 is focused on the concrete design of the system data base. In Chapter 5, a presentation of train flow diagram is given firstly, following which is the research on the distribution optimization of train flow diagram and the research on its drawing algorithm are emphasized. Chapter 6 is focused on the important technologies which are used in the system realization.Finally a conclusion is made, and then the aspects which need improving are demonstrated.
